"Listen, I had a great time going to NYU Stern, primarily because of the people there (yes, Dean F., you were right back in the day, I was wrong!). I did the part-time MBA program on my nights and weekends, and I don't regret it at all - expensive, yes, but you get what you put in; I spent a lot of time as a student, TA, student leader, and worked with fellow MBA students, staff, administrators and professors to really get the most of my education. One the best parts - it's literally right in the middle of NYC.\n\nThe professors are internationally renowned, the programs varied and well-ranked (Langone PT MBA, Full Time program, Undergrads, and EMBA especially), and though the facility is bursting at the seams, they continue to serve the students well and allow you to take classes outside of the school to help enrich knowledge like business law and Courant courses.\n\nSecurity concerns lately have them closing off the plaza entry to KMC/Tisch, so be prepared with any appointments as a visitor or your school ID.\n\nIf you're coming here to change careers, don't do it part-time, dedicate and go full-time if you can because the career resources and experience of interning will help with that career change (particularly for IB, consulting, or luxury marketing)."
